BelO is the sandwich shop of Groot Eiland. Here you will find an extensive menu with sandwiches of which the name will certainly make you smile and also soup, panini, wraps and croque monsieur. You can't resist the delicious patisserie here and your coffee is made by an accomplished barista.

You go for sustainability
BelO is part of Groot Eiland, an organisation that offers training to people who are far from the labour market. Under expert guidance, future catering employees are given the chance to train as kitchen or dining room staff. The people at the cash register are in employment care, as are the persons from TartiZan who make our fresh pastries every day.
At BelO you always find vegetarian and vegan options. The menu follows the rhythm of the seasons and part of the vegetables are straight from our vegetable gardens BelAkker. The drinks come from local producers. Surplus food is also processed in the kitchen daily. Zero waste is key.
The entire interior of the sandwich shop was made from recycled pallet wood by our carpentry Boomerang. This furniture is also for sale.
